Since its formation in 1957, and throughout its development from a local to national company, Watson Fuels has always been aware of its place in the community. Headquartered in the rural village of Brinkworth, Wiltshire, and operating nationwide through a depot network of over 50 local depots, we've done our utmost to build and maintain a reputation for actively contributing to the towns and villages in which we operate and the communities in which we serve.

Following the recent Government announcements, we would like to advise customers of the following:
Sports teams and individuals
Active in the field of sponsorship, Watson Fuels is equally as honoured to sponsor professional sports teams as it is local youth teams. In addition to our sponsorship of the Exeter Chiefs, we are long term supporters of both Ledbury and Cullompton rugby clubs, and have recently worked closely with Gwernyfed Rugby Club in Powys.
We've also been able to assist local junior and senior football clubs near our Totnes, Wisbech, Wigan, Torrington and Dorchester depots, and our logo can be seen on the kits of the Wisbech Acorns, Ledbury Swifts YFC, and Rogarth YFC. Recent years have seen greater involvement in cricket, with clubs in York, Herefordshire, Kent, Cornwall, Wiltshire and Devon all receiving backing from the Watson Fuels group of companies.
With our roots in the agricultural community, Watson Fuels has been keen to promote numerous local ploughing matches, agricultural fairs, Young Farmers Clubs and farming charities. We see this as a key area of support with many of our staff either coming from a farming background or still involved in the local agricultural community.
Local events, societies, and charities
The most varied area of our community involvement is our support of local fetes, shows, steam rallies and fundraising events. A number of depots are involved in helping local libraries and societies with their fundraising. Our Louth depot, for example, have recently supported the nearby Louth museum, as well as the local dramatic society the Louth Playgoers, while our backing of the Dauntsey 10k Run for Cancer Research, located just outside our Brinkworth Head Office, is now entering its fourth year.
Watson Fuels is pleased to support the Exeter Chiefs as the team's Official Fuel Partner for the 2017/18 season.
Our partnership grants us a range of image rights and promotional opportunities around the Exeter Chiefs - the West Country's premier rugby club - as well as the chance to offer tickets and additional giveaways to Watson customers during the season.
The Watson Fuels logo appears on the Chiefs' home, away and European playing shirts, while we serve as player sponsors to Chiefs players Don Armand and Kai Hortsmann.
"We are delighted to have the backing of Watson Fuels, and look forward to working with them again during the season," comments Exeter Rugby Club chairman and chief executive, Tony Rowe, OBE Hon LLD.
"Watson Fuels is one of a select number of leading national brands that form part of our commercial family and we thank them for their support as we continue our progression into one of Premiership Rugby's leading clubs."
Our Exeter Chiefs ticket giveaway competitions will be published on this website throughout the year.
